Welcome to the Paper Empathy Network (PEN) x Moop
PEN is an online community to talk about physical media, our offline hobbies, crafts, reading, and so on.
We're also collaborating with Moop, who will be hosting open-source game jams online. They love everything open source and games development related.
Both PEN and Moop social media accounts are in the process of merging together too, as seen in Useful Links.
PEN Safeguarding
PEN is a simple online forum community. Nothing is perfect, but we are going to try to be, and we understand that there are some safeguarding issues that could arise from any online service. So, to be fully transparent, here is information on our basic safeguarding practices that we do at the Paper Empathy Network x Moop.
It is mandatory for everyone that works for or will work for PEN to have the following:
- Enhanced DBS Check
- CPD Certified Safeguarding Training
- General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) Training
- Signing a Non-disclosure Agreement that states there will be no discussion about our users outside of the PEN x Moop office.
GDPR (How your data is used):
- Your provided Email Address will be securely stored in the backend admin section of the forumotion forum and used solely as your way to sign up to the forum. It will not be shared outside of PEN x Moop for any reason.
- If you email PEN x Moop (our general email: paperempathynetwork@gmail.com) with a general enquiry or concern, we will reply to that email as soon as we are able to. The email subject will remain completely confidential, and the email used will not be shared outside of PEN x Moop for any reason.
- Alternatively, using the DM option on the forum and DM-ing Admin for any general enquiry or concern is preferred, we will reply as soon as we are able to, and it will also be completely confidential, and not shared on the forum or outside of PEN x Moop for any reason.
